Cheryl Wright

Cheryl Wright is a multi-award-winning and best-selling Australian author who has been published since 2003.\n\nShe loves writing both contemporary and historical western romance, and enjoys the research needed for the historical stories she writes. She was brought up around horses - her father's first job was at a rodeo, and later became a horse breaker. Her family spent a lot of time traveling to rodeos over many years. \n\nShe spent several years teaching writing to aspiring writers, and wrote several non-fiction books about writing, worked as an editor for publishers, coached writers one-on-one, and has appeared at writer's conferences in both Australia and New Zealand.\n\nCheryl writes Christian stories without it dominating the story. Her books all come under the sweet/clean banner. There is absolutely no on-page sex and no profanities. \n\nShe has been married to her own real-life hero for over 45 years. They have two grown children and six grandchildren.\n\nTheir household would not be complete without their wonderful pets, which includes two very elderly cats and their beautiful dog Bindy, who loves long, leisurely walks. \n\nCheryl's hobbies are tenpin bowling and papercrafts, and surprisingly, going to the gym.\n\n
